To mark Children in Need this week, we would like to raise money for the cause on Thursday 16th November.
For a £1 donation, children will be allowed to wear non-uniform. However, to fit in with the theme of Children in Need, we would like to encourage children to wear spotty or Children in Need themed clothing.
Alongside this, School Council have organised a range of additional activities to help raise money. One of these activities is a bake sale – this is where we need your help! We require donations of spotty biscuits or cakes to sell. These need to be brought to Cook School on the morning of Thursday 16th November. Each cake will be sold for 50p during playtime. Children will need to bring a maximum of 50p if they wish to buy a cake on this day.
We are also running an art competition. There will be a prize for the winning entry from each category. Children need to complete their entry on A4 paper with their name and class on the back. We are asking for a 50p donation per entry. Children need to hand their entries to their teacher, alongside their donations by morning registration on Wednesday 15th November to allow for judging.
FS1 & FS2 – Draw or paint Pudsey bear. Full colour!
KS1 (Y1&2) – Draw or paint Pudsey bear with a spotty background. Full colour!
KS2 – Draw or paint a picture of Pudsey doing a fun activity. This also needs a spotty background. Full colour!
We are hoping for a special visit from Pudsey Bear himself, who will be around school at the end of the day for photographs.
We are hoping to raise a good amount of money to a great cause. We really appreciate your help.
