Happy 1st Birthday Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy !!!

Last Friday , we had a big birthday party to celebrate Robert Wilkinson Primary Academy turning 1 year old. Our first year has seen lots of changes and improvements across the academy and we wanted to celebrate it. We started our party with a whole school assembly complete with a special guest!!, Yorkie the Lion from York City Football Club, the children were so excited to see him we couldn’t even hear Mr Ludlow speaking. We sang Happy Birthday and blew out the candles on our fabulous birthday cake baked by Mrs Seabourne. As part of our celebrations the amazing Mrs Jackson had baked a birthday bun for each child in the academy for them to decorate, that was 600 buns!!! We had puppets shows, minibus treasure hunts, games and dancing. It was a fantastic day. We are very proud of all we have achieved in our first year and look forward to many more years in the future.
