This week in school we have had a very exciting week. It has been our Outdoor Learning Week. We have been out and around in the school grounds using our wonderful outdoor areas for a range of activities.
We have all experienced Geocaching – a fun, treasure hunting game and have also used QR codes (Quick Response Codes) and Orienteering.
The week has had lots of planning and preparation by staff. It has been great to see staff and children running around finding boxes and orienteering flags, working in teams and learning in the outdoors.
The week has been a great success and everybody has had a go at something new. We have also been very lucky with the weather!
For more information on Geocaching please see geocaching.com and make your family day out even more exciting!
A polite request – If your child does come across a geocache box in the school grounds, please could they leave it exactly where it is ready for our next class. Thank you for your help in this matter.
