Our Language Week

Last week we celebrated language week within our academy. Throughout the academy we took part in lots of different activities linked to a variety of languages. Year 4 created fortune cookies, Year 5 wrote numbers 1-10 in Chinese, Year 3 made up ‘untranslatable’ words whilst Year 1 practised their French and Spanish and Year 6 spoke in Slav and used Semaphore to communicate. As a whole academy we asked our children to send in photos of themselves next to text from another language , we then created a video of all our photos.
