RWPA Signing Club Performance – Click here for video

Over the summer, some children in years 1, 2 and 3 from signing club performed at at a Cancer Research UK event – Relay For Life York Carnival which took place at York RI in Acomb. The children signed 6 songs on the stage led by Mrs Coverdale and Miss Blackley. They opened with the Relay For Life signature song ‘This is Me’ and then moved onto songs from Matilda the musical, The Lion King and ended with a Take that Classic ‘Never Forget’. They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were fantastic! It was the highlight of the whole day for lots of Relay participants! Some of the children even went on to take part and walk part of the relay afterwards, helping to raise funds for vital cancer research! We can’t wait to welcome them back to next years Relay For Life which is slightly earlier in the year and will be held on 22nd June 2024!
