Sports Report Feb

Gymnastics has been the theme this week for all of KS2. The pupils have worked in pairs and collaborated to create performances with partners. Year 5 and 6 worked on creating longer routines on a specific piece of equipment. This resulted in some fantastic performances, lasting for around half a minute each and included many varied jumps, balances, rolls handstands, cartwheels and much more!
Year 3 and 4 had a slightly different task, trying to make their routines symmetrical with their partners. A tricky task, but in the end many good routines were made from across the phase with slightly shorter routines being produced than the Year 5 and 6’s, but no less quality!
