Three Wonderful Performances

Last Weekend saw three wonderful performances by groups of Robert Wilkinson pupils.

On Friday our indoor athletes stormed to victory to win the York Indoor Sportshall Athletics title.  It is such an exciting and action packed event with large teams cheering each other other on in a variety of events.

On Sunday, we had two different groups impressing audiences at York University.

Mrs Brown’s Dance Group who work so hard with her every Thursday evening after school at their Kinesis Dance Group sessions,  performed a stunning routine at the York Dance Festival.  You can see the video clip on our Twitter feed @robwilkprimary  The whole event was quite spectacular and a real success for York children.

Our Year 6 pupils have been working on some beautiful songs linked to memories this term. A select group visited York University to join MEG workshops and later perform their songs as well as Samba Drumming and Performance Poetry. They really did themselves proud.
